As the organization contracted to assist the state in processing applications for this funding, Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP) is contractually obligated to complete due diligence on all applications to avoid any concerns about fraud, waste, or abuse. AHP has in turn engaged an underwriter organization with experience and skills in this area to assist in ensuring the process is fair, complete, and thorough. The underwriter uses the requested information regarding the application’s lead authorized representative to validate that this person is who they say they are, and that they are authorized to do business on behalf of the applicant, whether that is a private business or public entity. With the rise in identity theft, we need to be absolutely certain that the entity applying represents that entity. Please note that the provision of this information by an applicant does not imply or create any personal guarantee or obligation.
